Andy's Garden full service floral departments can help you with any special occasion. Our talented staff of experienced designers can create that one of a kind arrangement you are looking for. Designers are available Monday through Saturday and they have our display coolers nicely stocked with fresh flower selections to meet your needs on Sundays and during evening hours.

Our Designers are Penny Mohler,  Kathy Creager, Rosie Russell, Stephanie Jones and Jenny Davis.

Penny came to Andy's in 1995 after owning her own flower shop for a number of years. You will enjoy her creative and unique style of design skills. Kathy started working in our garden center in the spring of 1995, moving into the flower shop that summer. Kathy has become a very valuable member of our design team and her horticulture knowledge is an added benefit. Rosie has been a member of our team since 1997. She enjoys being creative and loves to fill the display cooler with a variety of colorful, fresh arrangements.

Stephanie has proven to be an ethusiastic addition to our staff and she enjoys helping our customers and expanding her design skills. Jenny is the newest member of our team. 

Also helping throughout the year, part time, with Proms, Homecomings, Holidays and Weekends are Ashley Silvers and Michelle Detrick. Both a great help, in time of need.

Delivery service is available Monday through Saturday to Piqua, Troy and surrounding communities at a minimal charge. Sunday deliveries for funeral services are available. In addition we can send your floral gift world wide through our Teleflora wire service.

Andy's welcomes Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as payment methods.

Flowers in the Home Keep Us Happy!

There's nothing better for brightening your day than receiving a bouquet of flowers, but does having flowers around your home on a regular basis change your mood and make your happier?

Researcher Nancy Etcoff from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital conducted a behavioral study to determine the effect flowers have on people's moods.

Etcoff studied 54 people between the ages of 25 and 60 for one week. Each person was given a self reporting questionnaire to determine his or her activities during the day-whom they were with and what they were doing-when they experienced a strong emotion. One-half of the participants had flowers consistently in their home environment, and the control group had no flowers.

The results indicated that flowers in the home influenced moods such as compassion and worry. The participants who had flowers were more compassionate, less negative, more likely to feel happy, and likely to have more enthusiasm and energy to work.
